Do I need to take any standardized tests?We do not require ACT or SAT scores and there are no entrance Exams. We believe that everyone should have access to quality education without being rigorously tested on their current knowledge. There are certain requirements such as transcripts and other materials that will be required for admission.

How much is tuition?Tuition depends on the degree and program a student is enrolled in. CiU offers a quality education at a very cost-effective tuition.

What is the classroom structure?CiU’s classroom format is asynchronous, which means that we meet virtually in person (LIVE). Typically virtual classes will take place on the 2nd and 4th Mon / Tue / Wed/ Thur of each month from 6:00pm-10:00pm CST, depending on which program one is enrolled in. How much is the application fee?Current application fee is $20.00 unless we are running specials, such as no application fee.

Do you license & ordain ministers?Yes, you can be licensed and ordained with the CiU Global Network.

What is Accreditation?Accreditation are individuals who create an Agency as a governing body with certain criteria, guidelines, rules, and regulations that those they accredit must follow. Accreditation requires a lot of fees and rules that one must abide by. A list of some of the accrediting agencies (institutional and programatic) through the department of education can be found here: https://ope.ed.gov/dapip/#/agency-list. Certain things to note about accreditation are that the values, philosophy, vision, and integrity of the organization must align with each other. CiU and other similar organizations and individuals who are like-minded have gathered together to form Global Accreditation Federation (GAF), which is a governing body that has the same values. Due to Covid-19 accrediting agencies have pivoted, transitioned, closed, as more universities and colleges are Virtual.
